Chicory root, a little bitter.

It delivers a rich, full flavor with creamy oatmeal smoothness and subtle hop undertones. - It's loaded with a rich chocolatey and creamy cone, and rich throughout... Still not the best I've had.

could've done without it. there are better stouts out there. maybe I'll have to try again at some point?

Great stout with a nice finish

An unusual tasting stout I've ever had. An exceptional rich body flavor beer with a good light balance of bitterness.. But with a sweet kick at the end in the palate. A nice refreshing change of other stouts I've had. Cheers! 10/15/12

Not bitter/smokey at all-- nice chocolate taste

Almost black with tan head. Roasted coffee aroma with bittersweet chocolate flavors w/ nice bitter finish. Medium body w/ minimal carbonation. Decent stout.

Very bitter and has a coffee and dark chocolate taste. All of these things are not things I like in beer. I would not get again.
