Great seasonal ale. Mild nearly perfect spicy flavor. No burn. As enjoyable a brew I have ever had. Look forward to next years batch. A bit pricy but worth every cent. You will not be disappointed

Very strong, not particularly Christmassy, but decent

Not tasting much of the spices but it's got great flavor nonetheless. Good biscuity flavor and some minor butterscotch. Heavy but smooth and just a touch of booziness. A little bit of a metallic aftertaste.

Very nice strong ale, a little sweetness to it, not overly complex or harsh. A good beginner strong dark ale. Nice hints of cherry and a little cocoa. A good cold winter beer.

Pours dark amber brown from the bottle into a DFH snifter. There is a bubbly, half finger head that persists the entire time. Highly carbonated. Smell: somewhat weak, but has notes of raisin, ginger, and a slight spicy orange note. Taste: is more powerful than the smell, with ginger spice up front, followed by the traditional malt and raisin taste. No detectable alcohol. Mouthfeel: thinner than expected, and this beer seems a little light in mouthfeel for a Belgian dark strong. Overall: very good, but this should be maltier for a holiday offering. Granted, it pairs beautifully Christmas cookies.
