Strange sour aftertaste. Had a sample, could never drink a whole bottle. At BMPP Tavern in CA with Byron. April 2016 profile - February 22, 2016
Carmelly bubbly hoppy sweet.

The barrel aged provides a subtle taste that is not over powering so if you are looking for a true bourbon barrel aged flavor, this may not be worth the price. Still a great beer.

And amazingly smooth and rich beer with hints of bourbon. This beer is a great drink. Now is it worth $20 a bottle? No, I've had better for much less. Oh did I tell you that it's smooth?

No mistaking the bourbon flavor on this one. Not picking up the coconut the vanilla is subtle

Bourbon barrel - not overpowering. For bourbon, not bad but not my favorite type of beer

Amazing flavor, slightly sweet, strong, hint of bourbon from the storage process.
