cgiron - July 13, 2014Almost black body capped by mocha head. Excellent lacing and head retention. Roasted malt, cocoa, cafe and smoky aromas. Bittersweet chocolate, coffee, smoky flavors. A big creamy tasty Porter that is easily drinkable and enjoyable.

jph368 - May 9, 2014I taste the hops and fruity flavors, kind of light for a porter. Interesting flavor though

staubach012 - March 24, 2014I'm not a big porter or heavy beer fan but this beer seems neither. Fantastic

TearsforBeers - February 13, 2014First sniff smelled like some sort of wine, first sip got this fruity flavor, it got some coffee notes in there. It leaves a nice lacing on pint glass, dark as oil , nice 2 finger head when first poured aggressive , not bad pretty light not heavy at all just not sure I'm in love with ..but not bad either overall I'll give it 2 and a half stars

Ern Dog - January 31, 2014An exceptional American Porter, one of the best tasting Porter I've had. Thick full body flavor, with a dark roasted coffee taste. Not too empowering and complex as other Porters. Cheers, from sunny Southern California USA! 1/30/14

byzantinexile@gmail.com - January 16, 2014Full bodied and thick for a porter. Not overpowering though
