A true IMPERIAL. Strong coffee and aroma and taste. Very dark.

Opaque black in color with no highlights, two fingers worth of thick rocky brown head. Sweet molasses in the front of the aroma followed by vanilla, coffee, and alcohol. Slight hint of chocolate syrup, magnificent smelling beer. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, alcohol, and there is some other warming aside from the alcohol. Some kind of pepper maybe. Full bodied, thick creamy in texture yet seems to go down really smoothly. A lot of warming in this beer that really lingers in the finish.

Very good beer. Hides the alcohol well and has a distinct coffee flavor that is sweet and rich. Very well balanced.
