pvcleary22@hotmail.com - November 29, 2014Excellent. A little bit bitter aftertaste. Chocolate and coffee of course but more strength and body than some others

gonefishin439@juno.com - November 8, 2014More of a cross between a stout and an IPA. As IPA?s are growing on me I may revisit...

teach - October 6, 2014Coffee, fudge-brownie nose, especially the closer it gets to room temperature. Take all the standard stout flavors and turn them up to 11, Spinal Tap style. That's what this fabulous brew does.

Reeds - September 29, 2014Drinking a 2009. Spectacular depth and character! This is an amazing example of an Ageable beer. Buy it and put it on the shelf.

aaf145 - July 26, 2014Pretty rough.. Below average russian imperial ... Dark roasted, slight chocolate, heavy anise and hop finish,.. Disappointed, Bells could do better than this...2.5 stars

BlaauwBeer - June 28, 2014Not bad. I can only have like one of these at a time. The Kalamazoo stout is better

Cellar Dweller - May 8, 201412 oz. of dark roasted malt, sweet, velvety goodness. Pours black with no head. Smells and tastes of roasted malts. Malt, toast and oak flavors with a little sweet finish. Great stout mouthfeel. Nice beer. Will have to get for the cellar.

99fritos - March 8, 2014Nice imp stout. A hallmark of a good imp stout in my opinion is when the relatively high alcohol content integrates with the beer and doesn't overwhelm it. Bells achieves this with this beer.
