By far my favorite pale ale. All around great beer. They apparently stopped making this and now make a 'mid-west pale ale'. The new pale ale is drinkable, but it isn't very good and is quite disappointing. At least it is made from local ingredients. Makes me miss the original Pale Ale every time

It's hazy, deep gold . Sweet malt smell that promises something tasty but it just doesn't deliver. Tastes of low grade malt and barnyards ..the hops do nothing to save it either. Nothing defines the hop aside from the grassiness .

Golden hazy blonde pale ale, soft n smooth with bitterness at the end, a little sweetness too. Very easy drinking summer beer. Bottle, March 2013.

Not too bad

Pleasantly plain. Mild hops and bitterness. Medium carbonation. All around "everyman" ale, easy on the senses.

I agree with a lot of the reviews here. It's just a good beer from a great brewery. It's not very memorable but also not bad. It just is what it is. A nice balance of bitter yet smooth and is just one of those easy to drink beers when you just want to drink without thinking too much about it. 3.5 stars

Nice, pretty balanced. Not necessarily standout. Finish is very bitter.

Not bad, not great. Surprisingly mediocre from a brewery this great(especially with their other great "hoppy" offerings)
