This was more of a barleywine, sweet n malty but with a powerful grapefruit and pine bitterness to close it out. Boozy, definitely a sipper. Can, May 2015.

Strong roast and caramel smell with sweetness. Nice and bitter upfront with a slick mouthfeel and smooth finish. I very much enjoyed this but its very strong and has slight dark ale qualities. A great one to relax with.

Indeed bitter. Little dark malty too. Was surprised at the roasted flavor. Ok - not great.
