Great beer. Dark, full body, with a little crispness to it. Great for a Friday evening ride on the ferry to Oakland.

Had lost a little faith in dark beers at Widmer yesterday... Now with the stouts and porters here at Deschutes brewery I've restored my faith. Solid beer. Could replace Guinness in the repetiore!

Very rich and malty. Intense dark roasted malt and chocolaty flavors up front, with a heavy caramel and coffee finish. Great to finish off the night! The first time I had it I thought it was pronounced Black Butt!

Translucent brownish black with thick light tan head. Smells very malty. Very smooth and full mouth feel. Chocolate comes through strong with little to no hoppiness.

Dark black color, typical porter smell, deep flavor, lightly smoky, roasted flavor, some hops.
