Dark, slightly bitter but smooth

Surprisingly smooth, reminds me of dogfish head chicory stout. Definitely taste the chocolate but it's not overbearing. Good for an after dinner beer.

Really bad aftertaste.

Carbonated, not smooth. Mid body. Roasted, slight burnt. Flavor doesn't last. 3.25

Seams pretty well balanced as far as chocolate and beer is concerned.

Closer to a Porter, as I imagine them, then I would prefer from a Stout, especially a chocolate one. I found the chocolate a bit weak and overpowered by the roasted malts. This improved as it warmed up, but it also became more metallic. Others note a coffee flavor, but I did not get it. I do have to say that for the price it's an excellent value for a highly drinkable beer.

Light for a chocolate stout, flavors of cocoa and coffee, smooth, not overly bitter.

Drink 2 good stouts then spend the rest of the evening this. Very good second tier stout.

Wonderful stout not too chocolatie. I would buy it again

Good; especially for the price! Too thin and kind of one note(like their DIPA), but better than you'd think for $2.* Gets too sweet and hard to finish bottle*
