B-. Hop and malt aroma, not much hop flavor. Heavy body and alcohol when warm.

Decent, drinkable, but not a particular standout.

Not a bad craft beer for $2

Fruity nose - pears. Malty foretaste. Undertones of dark chocolate. Not very bitter at all for 80 IBU. For the price point, very good beer. I usually don't drink anything over 30 IBU and this is very enjoyable.

The bitter sour finish is overcome by chugging.

Sweet Carmel front with a slight pleasant fruity finish.

A very dark and tasty brown ale. The 7% content caught me by surprise.

For having such high IBUs, it does a good job of not being overly bitter. Hoppy nose, with a distinctly cheery mouthfeel, which is appreciated in such a dark ale, let alone one at so affordable a price. It fails to deliver on the finish though. Better than what I expected, but a long way yet to go.

Rich. Very malty. Not bad for two bucks.

Too chocolaty and malty for me. Not a great after-taste, either.
