Not my thing. Had to try with the high ratings. Not a sour or funky guy. It is not awful but I would probably not have it again. profile - September 2, 2016
Goldenrod in color. Nose of cereal grains, sea salt, and antique wood. Dry mouthfeel, citrus, salt, oakiness, and rustic bread. Good length. Very complex and layered. Classy. I like it a lot!

Copperish gold - slightly hazy. Foamy head that lingers. Aromas of citrus and oak. Pleasingly tart with citrusy flavors. Light bodied with abundant carbonation. An excellent example of Geuze. My bottle was from 2011/2012 brewing season with 7% ABV. profile - March 5, 2015
Good but not too complex

A: Straw/ golden amber A: Yep, definitely going to be sour. Nice aromas of dry pear cider, a little bit of a buttery richness, slightly floral and maybe a touch of ginger. Poured into a tulip glass and created a dense head that slowly dissipates to just barely visible on the surface T: Sour. Dry. Almost like a sweet wine such as a moscato but with a sourness of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Slight lemon peel. A touch of a metallic mineral note M: Carbonation that dances on the tongue then dries out your mouth, making you want to take another sip. Lighter mouthfeel A: The aftertaste is like having just bitten into a Fuji/ Granny Smith apple Truly delicious brew (Note: This was my 500th rating) profile - June 22, 2014
Really complex lambic very interesting really authentic. profile - April 1, 2013
Orange yellow sour with lots of fine bubbles. Slightly sour, grassy, metallic nose. Apple, grassy flavors followed by strong iron, metallic aftertaste.

Nice, very refreshing, with balanced sourness and bitterness.

Delicious, tart, sour but not at all overwhelming. Lively, funky. Excellent lambic even for the uninitiated.

Wow! There is no relief from the sour. It is horsey and strong and not pleasant at all. It is rough. The cork popped off after just untwisting the wire. Maybe it's bad-sour?
