Pours great with a 2-3 finger chocolate colored head. The chocolate was not as present as I was expecting. Even in the taste, it was hard to pick up. Not in my top 5 IStouts.

I agree with Shadow. Have to do a better job masking the alcohol at this level.

The chocolate is noticeable in both the aroma and taste of this beer. It definitely takes the bite out if what would likely be a very bitter beer, otherwise. Good warming finish.

Alcohol content too high, tasted like a mixed drink that is too strong

CBR says a mild hop to the aroma. One of their top picks for the night.
