This is an underrated lager which impresses me each and every year; it's a testament to the skill and devotion of Brooklyn Brewery. Is it the boldest Märzen? No. Is it the richest? No. Is it the most authentic tasting American Märzen I've had? Yes! Is it highly sessionable, as a Märzen should be? Yes! Somehow, the folks at Brooklyn managed to produce an American-made beer that tastes of Germany! Their seeming devotion to crafting exceptional brews wich remain true to the traditional styles really shines in this offering. Bravo!

Tasty Octoberfest style beer. Always look forward to the end of september for it (along with all of the other O-fest beers)

A really good beer with a light finish that makes it possible to keep drinking this one after the other.

Copper colored pour into pint glass with mild lacing. Toffee aroma. Caramel, malt and toffee flavors. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Would have another for certain.

Amber appearance with 1” head that dissolves very fast. If swirled it suds up. It has a slight bitter taste but tasty. A smooth and refreshing taste with little to no aftertaste. My overall impression was that it was pretty good and one of the better Oktoberfest beers.

Nice color. It had a nice taste at start moving into something with a hint of fruitiness and a solid finish. this was a solid Oktoberfest beer I would drink again
