There's really not much to this one. Very little aroma, slight caramel and spice flavor, but very little else. Not a bad beer, but relatively bland.

I think I just figured out this isn't my style. Weird, murky dirt-like finish. Hmm...maybe Scottish ales just aren't my thing.

Kind of dry, hoppy/ slight burnt sugar. Mild hop character. Here and there I taste a weird citrus undertone.

Just a really full malt winter ale. Recommend to anyone who enjoys the Brooklyn chocolate stout.

Not bad. Alcohol comes through a tad too strong and leads to a bit of a bitter aftertaste. Would enjoy occasionally but not as a six pack.
