Very hoppy. Too much for my liking.

SRM19. Foamy off white head with good retention. Some medium fast rising bubbles on the sides of glass sticking to glass. Slightly perfumey but not as much as stronger IPAs. Taste is spicy and piney with biscuity malt. Well carbonated and the flavor is good. This is the perfect beer for a dark room and a book.

I'm loving this red rye! Toasty flavors with a generous offering of spicy rye. A creamy sweetness with a perfect balance of hop bitterness at the finish. Great brew!

This not at all what I was expecting from a rye-based red ale. If I had been blind tasting this, I would have thought it to be a fairly smooth IPA. It is a lot more hoppy than any other red ale or rye-based or rye-mixed ale. As a Rye ale, it fails; it lacks the depth of body and the heavier mouthfeel of a darker red eye ale. However, as a mild IPA it is really quite good! It has a touch of pine and just the slightest bit of citrus without being too bitter from the hops. It has a smooth feel and a nice finish with a short aftertaste. Overall, "clean" is a good description of the effect.

The rustic, sugary flavor here is nicely offset by the crispness of the rye. Two Bros never disappoints.

I'd drink it again- bitter. Not a mind blower though
