Was able to try this while in California... I love porters but this was disappointing. Seemed more like a bitter stout than a chocolate/vanilla porter. Has a great vanilla smell but metallic taste, I would not recommend this.

Thin and metallic. A letdown.

Maybe my tongue was desensitized from the Pliny I was drinking, but I expected something thicker and more robust. I do like chocolate notes and the coffee finish.

Pours dark brown/ black. Nice bitter chocolate and burnt notes. The roasted malts are nice. Seems like something between a porter and a stout.

Pretty good, sweet porter. Just not a huge fan of porters.

Very well made, goes down just a little bit lighter than other porters but still good. Has a sweet chocolate taste and a bit of a smokey flavor. I would definitely buy this again if I were into the sweeter side of porters.

Nice bitter chocolate and burnt notes. Just a tad of coffee. ABV is apparent, but not overwhelming. Interesting lacing. The malts are the most fantastic element and make this something I would drink again. Seems like something between a porter and a stout.

Chocolate aftertaste. Disgusting!

Sweet nose of chocolate and coconut. Not incredibly dark. Dark chocolate with coffee as main tasting notes. Vanilla provides the aftertaste. Light bodied for a porter.

Slight carb & smooth. Light-mid body, good fir a porter. Burnt & chocolate provide nice bitter flavors. Slight sweet. One if the best porters I've had cuz it's like a stout. 3.8 compared to other porters
