04JUL12, Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN Maibock style. Fairly malty, with some minor bitterness crisp at the end. Overall a well-bodies beer with significant malt contribution. The longer you drink it, it begins to have almost a slightly sweet-ish finish. 17OCT13, Flanagan's, Louisville, KY Agree. Hop bitterness. Draft, pint. Pours a cloudy dark straw. Meh.

Very nicely balanced strong beer with well balanced malt and hops. The alcohol level is well hidden and the flavours intermingle and hold nicely.

Been a while since I've had it. I remember it being strong tasting. It tasted. Tasting notes.

Tasted good at first but as it sat it became very skunky.

Great balanced ale. Nice combination of malt and hop. One of my favorites.

Nice malty taste up front followed by subtle, earthy hops.

Bought the 1/2 gallon jug and loved every drop. Was worth the expense.
