This is a very nice balance between ABV and IBU. And even more attractive for a local price of $4.99 for a bomber.

Nice piney aroma and decent gold-amber mix in appearance. Small head. Not boozy seeming, but the malt sweetness isn't adequate to offset the hop bittering on this bad boy so it's too bitter for my tastes. I've had "quadruple IPAs" more balanced / less bitter.

APPEARANCE - 1FH, cloudy, light, red, amber.
AROMA/SCENT - Hops, pine.
TASTE - Hops, pine.
MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Lingering, warming
VALUE - $8.00 for a 13-oz. draft. Good price.
OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - ABV well-hidden, quaffable.

Although hoppy very balanced with caramel undertones. Super rich, big alcohol. Beautiful big beer.

I love DIPAs but this one overdid the bittering hops without enough aroma and dry hopping. Just ok. Not worth the 15$ pack price tag. That being said, it is much better on tap then in bottles. At least a star better.

It's good if you like double IPA's, but at that level of hop, malt, and alcohol flavor they all begin to taste similarly overwhelming. Considering the price of this one, though it's good I will stick with the much cheaper Torpedo by Sierra Nevada.
