ausomeawestin - August 8, 2012Pours a dark amber with off white head.
Aroma is spicy hops.
Tastes of apricot and pear with a nice bitterness.
Palate is clear, not sticky, with pleasant warmth from alcohol.

skizzybrewz - May 8, 2012Really good beer, had it upstate at room temperature. It was surprisingly smooth and not overly hoppy for such a high ABV pale ale.
fish1950@comcast.net - March 16, 2012Some will find this exceptional. I think it's exceptionally hoppy, reminding me of Pliny the Younger, which is too over the top in bitterness for my delicate taste buds.
