Almost cider like, sweet on both nose and pallete. Easy to drink, maybe too easy.

Sweet with sour citrus taste- not overwhelming, but prominent. Rich and complex. Very nice. Low octane for a Belgian.

P: 12 oz bottle tulip
A: dark ruby with huge tan head. Minimal lacing
A: awesome! Really tart with grape, cherry, and plums notes. With a bit of vinegar.
T: tart, but not quite as much as a expected. Tons of grape and sour cherries. Tastes like a fruity champagne with a bit of tartness and vinegar. Definitely interesting.
M: thin with tons of carbonation. Definitely easy to drink.
O: Awesome beer and my first Flanders. There's just something very clean about the aroma and taste that makes this incredible.

Bubbly and too heavy for the ladies. I read vinegar in one of the comments a lady posted. I feel you. It is descent not what I expected for a red. Little whiskyish

It is a personal note that I do not like sour beer, my husband says I'm a total douche bag for rating it a star and a half- but definitely a sour beer- he rates it a five
