Tastes like metal when it's cold but smooths out as it warms. Ends up slightly sweet. Nothing special but drinkable. Bottle from trader joes. Similar to the mcguires they have.

Malty flavor but smooth ale. The 7.1% alcohol is mixed well into the beer. It's pretty good

Better than I was initially expecting. Noticeable floral tones and hops, if slightly off-balanced. Not too particularly strong in any of the flavours. Very drinkable and easily enjoyable.

I want to know what creates the sweetness in these budget strong beers. This one isn't the worst.

Like other budget strong ales, the balance. Is achieved by adding 'sweet'. This one strikes that balance better than most.
