Has a great deep color as well as aroma and head. Nice malty start with hints of alcohol along the way. However, towards the end finishes strong with a chocolate flavor. Smooth all the way down. Very impressed. profile - January 8, 2015
Well blended. Nice flavor with a thickness rich in chocolate and alcohol. Ya baby !!!!!

Rich chocolate coffee roasty deliciousness. Bitter dark chocolate finish lingers on the palate. Perhaps the best stout I have had

This is a very tasty stout. Strong coffee on the nose, looked like oil when poured, but surprisingly well carbonated. Heavy bitterness towards the end. Complex and delicious. Really liked this one.

Slightly more than a hint of smoky flavor throughout. Good solid stout profile - May 17, 2014
Amazing for an imperial stout, just not my thing. Thick, dark head, definitely a sipper.

Wow I have no idea how this is a top 100 beer on brew gene I could name 10 Russian imperial stouts off the top of my head that are better.. First few sips aren't bad.. But then you get that familiar Founders liquor like burn aftertaste, reminiscent to their Backwoods Bastard and Double Trouble.. Not impressed...Wtf is founders doing making at imperial stout, or any stout for that matter with an ibu of 90... Save that bitter, burning aftertaste bullshit for ipas and the hopheads of the world..
