Horrible

1/8/15 - 12 oz bottle into a Pilsner glass. 1/2" head disappeared fast. Pours a semi-translucent goldish copper color. Carbonation is medium. Aroma is toasted caramel malts, and somewhat earthy. Taste is caramel, malts, smokey, woody, ashy and a very slight hoppy bitter finish.

Spicy but not overpowering. Fresh solid beer.

Complex yet still well-balanced and very tasty. Sweet and buttery but not overly so. Fruity or nutty notes are subtle but present. Smooth.

Solid choice in Marzens/fest style.

Rich and delicious. Super impressed with this beer. Loving Oktoberfest beers right now. Figgy, nutty, toffee, apricot. Awesome! Enjoying 'Oktober' 9, 2015.
