Nice barrel aged presence. Strong, without knocking you over; however, if you are not used to this style you may disagree because, yes, it is powerful. As it should be. Pretty classic flavor for top of the line barrel aged barleywines. But come on, Potosi, who is going to pay $18 for a bomber? I got mine on sale at Whole Foods, which is saying something. If it even looked too pricey at Whole Paycheck , thus necessitating a price drop, you know it is too spendy. But shit if this is not about the best thing in a bottle.
