Deeply hoppy but extremely smooth and full bodied. Outstanding!

Never had a "double red IPA" but I have had red IPAs. I expected more of a hoppy flavor but this beer was pretty tame. Had a good taste but not as malty as some red ales. Barely above average.

A nice sweet malty flavor but hoppy at the same time. This beer is awesome

Pretty good red ale. Has a little bite to it but not too hoppy. I gave it 3 stars. Deserves a better rating but I think 4 stars is a little to generous.

Smooth - some malt balance, unusual in most IPA's. At first, only mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Still, eat or drink something afterwards, because the bitterness grows over time.
