Unique flavour for a beer. Reminds me of field berries...maybe cranberries or something. High quality brew.

One of the best beers I have ever had. Smooth flavor and beautiful dark amber color.

Smooth and very nice beer. Not enough taste for a higher rating then 3,5 stars.

Smooth, dark and quite sweet treacly beer.

I drank this in Germany for a while. It was available on Ramstein at a building the Belgian A.F. had on base. It has been a while but I remember it as malty, chocolaty, and smooth. A very nice example of an abbey double.

Lighter than I expected, with almost a fruity feel. A little bitter with a slight aftertaste. Overall, not bad at all

Not enough body, decent flavor but a hint too much on chocolate.
