mellowman - December 26, 2018Dark. I get the bourbon barrel in the nose. Thick,sweet, and flavorful, with complex chocolate notes, and bourbon. Again, yes.
dkrenik - July 12, 2016Opaque black with slightly lighter tan, foamy, head. Cocoa, vanilla, and plums on the nose. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet malt is followed by cocoa, vanilla, and bitter hops.
All in all, an outstanding stout. Yum.

bockboy@att.net - October 14, 2015B. Tasty, but no roast for a stout. Taste the anise, but not the hazel nut or the cocoa nibs. Good beer, not a great stout.
