Smell of food, not bad but interesting. Not too bad, actually full, but simple flavor. Did the trick

Surprisingly light and crisp for such a dark looking lager from the home of thick beers. Quite malty, slightly hoppy, a session beer for those who enjoy a strong brew.

A non Guinness drinker won't love it it's different from the usual Guinness and I think they are trying to expand the people who drink Guinness so... For me ehhh but for other Guinness drinkers I think you'll enjoy this different heavier lager
