cgiron - March 25, 2012Hazy pale golden pour into pint glass produces thin white head and excellent lace. Wheat aroma with floral notes. Grass, wheat and pine flavors. Light malt backbone. Moderate hoppiness with bitter dry finish more reminiscent of a pale ale than a wheat beer. Light bodied with excellent carbonation. Well balanced beer that is a unique wheat-pale ale hybrid. Leave it to Three Floyds to be this creative. A well-crafted beer that is worth tasting as often as possible. Cheers!
mordant - February 4, 2012Crisp. It smells hoppy but the taste is not like the smell, only light hops at the finish. It's the middle of winter, given comments I'd like to try this in the summer heat.
