Sweet and nutty nose. Smells roasted. The hazelnut sweetness was good but tasted like it was added like a flavor syrup. Made it taste like a flavored beer rather than a brew

This is truly a cold autumn day beer. Full bodied on the tongue, sweet nutty flavor going down. Two finger head, dark brown color, light smell of hazelnut. Can't wait to drink this again.

Fortunately this does not have too much hazelnut flavor. It's got some nice toasty malt flavors and a little bit of sweetness. Maybe the least hopped beer from Sam Adams I've ever had. Good.
