Reddish amber in color poured into globe glass. Produces a one finger off-white head and mild lacing. Aromas of dark fruit, roasted malt and bread. Flavors include spicy roasted malts, less dark fruit than nose advertised and a hoppy back end with a dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Good but not great beer. Fairly well-balanced. Glad I tasted it but am unlikely to pursue again.

I did not find this overly sweet. Flavor is not too robust but then again I'm an IPA dan.

This is one of my favorite browns. And I don't drink a lot of brown ale.

Definitely a brown ale. Kinda boring ale. Cool label though

Nice ale. Nothing special but nothing to turn down either! It has a Winter Ale quality and easy taste (not bitter or hoppy)
