svenllr - January 26, 2013Lagunitas is quickly becoming my favorite brewery with such favorites as Brown Shugga and now this marvel. Don't fear that 102 IBU because the high gravity of 1.085 smooths out the bitter really well. In fact, there is zero bitter after taste. No, there is actually a hint of sweetness. The gold beer pours magically and the head is thick and long standing. The hop smell is very present but doesn't bite ones nose. What this beer comes down to is it is amazing. Really, you'd be stoopid to pass it up.
