Good beer lite rum taste

vanilla dominant at first, with a hint of oak, and then a nice toffee aftertaste. Very smooth

Tasted: bottle. Honey colored with light head. Aroma of toffee, vanilla and nuts ( almonds). Nutty vanilla with touch of scotch taste that finished warm and dry. The flavor was weak and just okay.

Creamy, mild, caramel. Deliciously drinkable

A fine beer - a nice, somewhat unique flavor profile from the barrel aging; very slight bitterness - definitely not a beer for hopheads! I did enjoy the whiskey-barrel aged stout much more.

Sweet, mildly woody, hoppy flavor, slight oak finish?

Great flavor with perfect hints of vanilla and toffee, excellent beer.

Actually, the more I drink this stuff the more I like it. Rather strong barrel-wash flavour which either works for you or not. The bottle tastes better but pricy. Cans are now out and are much cheaper but the flavour is sweeter which I don't care for. Maybe the formula is different for can?. This would account for the lower price per ml. Good stuff.

It reminds me of those small caramel candy cubes with a kick. Can only drink 1 a night I guess that is why they package it in 4's

oak flavor is a bit strong in bottle form but this is an amazing draft beer from the tap
