Very sweet. Tastes like caramelized sugar. Nice Belgian quad but I prefer rochefort 10. 11 percent alcohol very well hidden.

Not too bad, almost sweet. Drink in the bar but not worth a case

Had this in Ieper while attending the 11 November remembrance ceremony. Wonderfully complex flavor profile, with more than a hint of Belgian sugars, this is one of my favorite Belgian quads, in the same league as with Straffe Hendricks and Rochefort 10. Massive 11 percent ABV, but so well masked you just don't realize it!

Strong and sweet, tastes like a barrel aged beer.

Dark and thick with a creamy head. Malty and sweet with a hint of (tobacco?). Definitely hides the alcohol. Reminds me of the iced tea my mom used to brew when I was a kid. Excellent finish to a meal. Worth seeking out!
