Another fine dark bier. Not too bitter. A strong head that stands to the finish. Strong toasty flavor and a full mouth feel make this and enjoyable brew to drink with friends on a cold night.

Very smooth, easy drinking. Not what you would expect from such a dark beer.

This tasted like a watered down dark beer. I found its serious lack of body to be quite undesirable. Perhaps because I am usually drinking an Islay scotch, I look for heavy body and this beer is borderline horrible

Best black lager around. Perfectly balanced. Pours a dark brown color. Nice molasses hints on the nose and in the flavor.

Nice and smooth. Nice bitterness. Good balance of light and full bodied. Very similar to Shiner Black Lager.
