Unbelievably drinkable! Officially my favorite spiced Belgian and maybe favorite ale period.

Very nice nose. Apricot, and cinnamon and some other bite/spiciness. A bit sour and bitter tasting. Still some spice.

Pours a nice frothy white head with good retention and solid lacing. Amber in colour with quite visible, highly particulate cloudiness. Aromas of bananas, cloves, and nutmeg, while the taste is somewhat similar. Though good, the aroma tops the flavor, which is a bit muted, though appropriately dry. Lacking any strong malt presence, though the yeasty spiciness is apparent. Feel-wise, it is very light bodied and a bit crisp. A decent example of the style, but not one to write home about.

Weakness. Not bad, but not memorable.
