Foremost Aug 2015. Bottle. Aroma us citrus but body is much more piney and bitter. More malty than some west coast DIPA. Bit unbalanced with the bitterness. You can tell this is a big beer. Less bitter as it warms up.
Fireballlk - August 16, 2015
Slightly sweet, tropical fruit, piney, hoppy, sweet at end; good, heavier IPA

A 9.1% ABV kick in the ass brew! Contrary to most Imperial IPAs, this brew weighs more on the side of tropical sweetness as opposed to hop bitterness. The rich, full-bodied flavor suggests high octane kick. Tasty, but beware!

Really smooth! A good IPA for hot days, but high alcohol content.

Interesting flavor. Heavy malts fleeting flavors of bread and yeast.

Medium hops, sweetness at end.

Great IPA! Unique flavoring. Sweet malt, citrus, tropical fruit and pine resin. Drinks so light and smooth. Great beer!

Lake Erie Monster lives up to its name. Great Imperial IPA with smooth hop taste. I go back to this winner over and over
