Flowery, slightly sweet and definitely fruity. Very yummy.

Gruit is an ale brewed with "bog myrtle, horebound, yarrow, wormwood, and elderflowers" The mouthfeel is light and refreshing with minimal carbonation. A light golden color, opaque, with a small head. The taste is light, starts with a refreshing citrus flavor with a smooth and rich finish of spices. Overall I think this is a very good beer for those who like like beers with a complex finish. Because I am so used to IPA's the flavor is a little too light for me. I would recommend this to Rosy. Although I enjoy this beer I would not be inclined to buy it again, at the current price.

Earthy and corn chip aroma. Light malty flavor with slight bitter herb compliment. More bitter herb flavors come out in the aftertaste, but lean toward the subtle side. A nice blend, especially when the herbal additions can easily become overpowering.
