Strong, chocolate and coffee notes, but a good sipping beer

Probably one of my favourite dark/caramel beers. Light while flavourful, can barely taste the high alcohol

A solid drink, but a bit of bite (non alcoholic). Very spivey and not too special. Can drink it, but better dubbels out there

18JUL12, Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN Same beer as the Brune. Thick, light head. Sweet on aroma and flavor. Taste is good, some minor hops with a balanced blend of malt and spice. Very dry finish, and flavors of deep purple fruits. 28JUN12, Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN Tastes like a Belgian. Fairly smooth, with a sweet kick and a sweet finish. Smells ad tastes a bit like bourbon; considered a strong Belgian. It's is fairly full-bodied and tastes smooth.

One of the best Abbey Ales I have had thus far. Dark amber color, sweet smell with a smooth, spicy flavor and strong after taste. Great with shrimp tacos, guacamole and salsa.
