Pours opaque dark chocolate with thin tan head that fades quickly. Thick aroma like dense heavy in the nose. Strong presence in the mouth of molasses and bourbon then a bitterness that lingers.

Excellent. Thick and chewy. Has a nice sweetness. Molasses. Coffee. Chocolate.

Not too bad..age was good for this beer..the barrel was that of an ok bourbon but the wood lended a nice taste..i believe lagers are not as complex as ales and should not be aged as such.imo

Good aroma, great color. Light tasting brew like a lager, but then blasts you with a bourbon flavor. However, very smooth going down. Wow! Be careful though, it packs a punch.

Pretty good tasting. You can taste the bourbon but it's not overwhelming. Only can drink one at a time
