Nose is a Chardonnay and tropical! Very sweet syrupy and a boozy floral citrus perfume like finish.

Spice and alcohol up front. Nice hop nose and a lingering bitter on the finish.

A golden hazy honey color with a thick frothy thick head that slowly dissipates leaving rings of lacing coating the glass. Sweet aroma with some tropical fruit and a touch of spice and a resiny dank note. Nice medium mouthfeel, feeling a lot lighter than expected given the 13% abv. Has a malty sweet forward opening up into tropical fruit and a dank resiny hop flavor, closing with a medium bitter hop finish. A lot sweeter than expected too as it is more malty than the massive amount of hops as it sounds from the description on the label. Overall very good and would enjoy again but not a hop head ipa. It's more a sweet dank imperial ipa.

Outstanding imperial IPA - and that's not the booze talking, even though there's plenty of it. Pine resin throughout, cut by bright citrus orange and a surprisingly creamy mouthfeel. Had at PP 8/15/14.

Nice hazey honey appearance, leaving minor white head that disappears fairly quickly even when poured hard, and leaves spaced out lacing. Sweet aroma with some tropical fruit and a touch of dank. Nice medium mouth feel. Quite sweet, semi-dank, medium hop-bitter flavor (or medium-high for palates not accustomed to hoppiness) with adequate malt to balance it. While I have tried many IPAs, including double and triple and imperial (like this one), the hop bitterness is not nearly as high as the label makes it sound. That is perfect for a malt-centric guy like me, but will unfortunately mislead a lot of Hopsters in the craft beer world.

Smooth for beer with 13% alcohol. A bit too 'hoppy' for me to drink regularly. Has a good flavor.

Sweet then malt and maple syrup sweet and a tart sour not so hoppy but big alchahol ibu finish
