Had on 5/1/21 at home in bottle. I had never heard or seen this brewer before so had to try. This is a very good Stout that has a slight bitterness bite at first then eases into nice roast flavor and finishes with very faint chocolate note.

Decent flavor. Sweet and malty. It?s not Guinness

Burnt taste. No carnel or chocolate notes. Disappointing.

My spouse really enjoyed it. I, on the other hand, could not stand the bitter coffee flavor that permeated the whole thing. Awful from my perspective.

Very low ABV for the unpleasant bitterness of the drink

Hint of coffee and smoke, not bad

Actually a pretty decent beer from Aldi. Pours black with a thin tan head. Big roasted barley smell with a faint hint of coffee. Taste is similar. Fairly thin mouthfeel. One dimensional but still tasty. Nice beer!

You'd think a brewery in Ireland would create a respectable Irish Stout....not this one. Though drinkable, it is limp-bodied Nd lacks a good flavor.
