Brown clear pour with a frothy thick head enticed me right away. A hint of sourness in the nose with a very slight sweet fruitiness of berries. Tasty sour with a nice balance of malt.

Tasted like smarties candy or sweettarts to me.

Sweeter than I was hoping. Almost tastes like a cherry soda. Very unique though.

Sour, fruity overtones dominate, but not overpowering to the senses.

B. Kind of bland. A cross between an American brown, English brown and a pale ale.

Only slightly sour. A little sweet. Caramel brown in color. Refreshing.

Sour, not cloying

Although not labeled a sour ale it definitely has a sour flair. This beer is aged in oak barrels but this is not apparent in the flavor. Smells slightly acidic with chestnut brown color. There is a moderate amount of fruitiness. Although I do not like sour beers this was very drinkable. This is a good beer to try if you don't like the taste of sours but still want to expand your palate in this category.

Refreshing, sparkly carbonation. Light bitterness.
