Rock solid IIPA. Has everything you?d expect - light, slightly creamy head, overflowing bright, citrus hops, clean finish with a slight lingering malt. That said - not the best in class, but certainly one of them. I wouldn?t say I was disappointed - slightly underwhelmed after all the hype.

Lots of anticipation, minor disappointment
Not much of a wow factor but a solid beer none he less
Had at port pizza in San Diego June 18

Bubbly tangy IPA that was very tasty and I was super happy my brother-in-law went the extra mile to find me some. He also had an older one which really held up well. I know IPAs are best when fresh but the older one was great too. Very nice beer drinking experience! I highly recommend it!

Awesome beer but it?s a little to balanced for 5 stars. I like my IPA?s with a bit more bite. I?ll drink it when I find it on tap.

Looking forward to this beer for awhile. It didn't disappoint. Excellent. Though I think I prefer WW Pernicious.

Worth the wait...but Pernicious and Scofflaw Basement are better....

7/24/17 - Newport Brewery. Draft into pint glass. Pours a brilliant gold, light carbonation, small head and no retention. but lacing is very good. Aroma is piney hops and heavy citrus, tropical and resinous. Taste is less bitter than I expected for a DIPA. Hoppy, grapefruit and slight sweetness. Good IPA, worthy of it world class rating.

Really smooth, very tasty.

Overrated. Not sayings it's bad but average in my opinion.

Perfect. The combination of hops is excellent with a great flavor and just the right bitterness. But what separates this beer is the smooth balanced malty background. Been waiting to try this for a while, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
