spark540 - April 18, 2015Clear golden yellow color. Small amount of lasting head and beautiful lacing. Moderate carbonation with medium mouth feel. On first pour I detect lemon and pepper notes. After warming a bit the aroma turns more into a banana bread. Balanced amount of hops and yeast ester with neither overpowering each other. Mild citrus and spice notes with a subtle bitter finish. Session ale that is easy to drink but also easy to forget.
clipinski13 - April 5, 2015This ale is a calmed-down version of the New Belgium Abbey and Trippel. Subtle clove and banana notes with a crisp finish. Not bad.
