Apr' 2016 - Essentially flat beer (wort in a bottle). Flavors are all over the place...char meets dark sugar. A very expensive, very disappointing bottle of beer. **UPDATE** I went back to the liquor store to give them a head's up about this beer. Jack (the beer guy) opened a bottle right off the shelf. And even though it was room temp, it was good. Properly carbonated, rich, exactly what I had expected and wanted from this beer in the first place. I'm still leaving this as a 2-star rating as a warning...at best, there is a risk when buying this beer. There's a clear inconsistency from bottle to bottle with poor QC from the brewery. Buyer beware, you're rolling the dice with this one. If it's good, it's great. If not, you're pouring $20+ down the drain!!
