Very good! Very boozy. Glad I bought some. Worth trying, at least once.

Delicious. Plenty of raisens and some chocolate. Tastes like a eisenbock

Drinking this fresh, no aging. Overkill? Yes, but don't care. Too sweet? No. Straight out of the fridge, not too many flavors come rolling out, but this is a strong dark ale, so waiting for some warming up. Alcohol is nicely masked, but you feel a nice burn about a minute afterwards. Upon warming, you get some fig and raisin with substantial alcohol taste and spice, yet it doesn't choke you out like you would expect it to. The sweetness doesn't escalate which is fantastic, hard to accomplish. Had too many others that get so sweet they turn into drain dumps.

All I have to say is wow.. Fucking awesome...heavy raisin presence, but what blows my mind is the lack of bite this beer contains for an 18% abv.... Ends so smooth it's almost confusing how this is possible..beautiful brew 4.5 stars... Dogfish never disappoints

Sweet on the start but a bite comes in that cuts the sweetness before the end. Heavy. 1 per sitting is enough.

Sweet raisony goodness. Ridiculously smooth even without aging, and the 18% isn't nearly as apparent as you'd think. Stellar beer.

A nice, rich malty brew. Don't really taste the high abv. Really enjoyable.
