zomerhouse - August 5, 2014Pours dark brown. Nose is roasted malt, nutty, with some chocolate notes. Taste is smooth with a nice smokey dark chocolate and spice with a good bite of rye. Good finish.
aaf145 - June 18, 2014Didn't know what to expect when cracking into this.. It was awesome..great collaboration from ale smith and cigar city.. Exceeded my expectations.. So smooth with a nice smokey dark chocolate undertone..the slight spice and bite of the rye compliments the chocolate perfectly.the most unique brown ale I've tasted in a long time.its definitely a session beer and it has an 8.5% abv....4.5 stars.. Another gem from ale smith
