Meh
I was hoping for much more from a $14 bomber here. Less than 10% abv, raspberries were faint, very underwhelming.

Didn't think I would like this, but the subtle hint of raspberry is a nice touch.

Excellent beer. The color is a deep dark chocolate brown with a light brown little head. The aroma is where the raspberry comes out, with cocoa and black berry. The first taste is silky smooth, creamy dark chocolate with a finish of roasted grains and a slight raspberry tart. 4 of 5 stars.

Bottled on 3/12/12, drank on 8/21/13. I wish I could recommend this, but the price is just too high at $12.99 for a bomber. The brew is decent, with nicely subtle raspberry notes and decent malts. It's slightly on the watery side, which I didn't care for. Again, there isn't much to justify the price, and its unlikely I would try the '13 unless the price came down to $7.99 or less.

Ordered it by accident. Pleasantly surprised by its balance and mild fruit flavor with a healthy stout finish

Rich porter with chocolate notes and nice raspberry after thought. Not what I had expected from Widmer. Very delicious imperial stout.
